Actor Jeon Jong-seo expressed her feelings about revisiting Canada, where she studied abroad, with the film "Project Y."
On the 12th, Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo attended a close-up talk at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) held in Toronto, Canada. Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo attended as the leads of the film "Project Y" (directed by Lee Hwan).
Jeon Jong-seo went to Canada to study abroad when she was in the second year of middle school, and her family currently lives in Canada. She said, "I lived in Canada. I wanted to see my family, and they came to the premiere yesterday and we met."
She continued, "Han So-hee is currently holding a fan meeting. I'm so grateful she came during that. She came even though she wasn't feeling well. I'm very thankful and that's everything, I think. Today is our last schedule, and seeing the packed audience makes me feel so good," she said with a smile.
He also said, "Isn't Toronto cold? So my manager went to buy an electric blanket. He put it out in the hotel," and shook a hand warmer he was holding even during the interview, drawing laughs.
"Project Y" is a film that tells the story of Miseon (Han So-hee) and Dokyeong (Jeon Jong-seo), who had nothing but each other, stealing hidden black money and gold bullion to escape their desperate reality. Director Lee Hwan handled both directing and the screenplay.
The film was officially invited to the Special Presentations section of this year's Toronto International Film Festival. Accordingly, Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo attended the premiere screening and red-carpet event held on the 10th (local time) with director Lee Hwan to meet local fans.
