Actor Kim Beom-rae is drawing attention with detailed, lifelike acting in the film "The Family's Secret."
Kim Beom-rae plays Park Jin-su, a caring husband and father of a daughter, in the film "The Family's Secret," which opened on the 10th (directed by Lee Sang-hoon / produced by E-Entertainment, OYES / distributed by Studio DHL).
"The Family's Secret" is a film that tells a special story of a family becoming a family again as the secrets of a mother, Yeon-jeong (played by Kim Hye-eun), who suddenly starts frequently leaving the house; a daughter, Mi-na (played by Kim Bo-yoon), who begins to act suspiciously; and a father, Jin-su (played by Kim Beom-rae), who suddenly leaves the house every holiday saying he will exercise, become connected.
In the film, Park Jin-su becomes suspicious of his wife's changed behavior and conducts his own investigation, discovering the hidden truth. Kim Beom-rae became Jin-su himself through deep gazes, delicate breathing, and subtle changes in expression. In particular, his characteristic solid vocalization and line delivery heightened immersion in the story, and his intense emotional performance, from heartfelt paternal love to overcoming wounds, moved audiences to tears.
"The Family's Secret" was a new challenge for Kim Beom-rae as an actor. He attended a GV (audience talk) for "The Family's Secret" held on the 10th and said, I often played villains, but at home I act cute and do housework as an ordinary father, adding I wanted the ordinary father side to come out realistically, and I filmed it very happily.
Kim Beom-rae added, The director's energy was so bright that the set was a happy place to film. I hope that happiness was conveyed to the audience, and asked for much attention for "The Family's Secret," saying If you felt it was a good film, please spread the word a lot.
Before its release, "The Family's Secret" advanced to the Asian film competition section of the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival and was also invited to the Neon section of the 8th Malaysia International Film Festival, receiving recognition for its artistry.
Kim Beom-rae, who has been active across film, musical, and drama, will continue his vigorous activities by appearing in "Annoying Love," which will air on tvN this October, following "The Family's Secret."
Meanwhile, Kim Beom-rae will depart today (the 11th) for Singapore to perform his solo concert "山君-KHAN."
