That day, appearing bare-faced in front of the camera, Soyou said, "It's been a while since I visited you with a bare face. The reason is when I appeared on the program 'Twelve Floors' people reacted very positively to my makeup. They said they were curious. They said they wanted me to introduce color cosmetics so much, so I'll take this opportunity to show you and share my go-to items."
She directly addressed the plastic surgery rumors, saying, "That came up. People these days say I've lost a lot of weight. Then they ask how that could be from just losing weight."
She added, "But I don't feel bad. I felt really good," and laughed, "I showed my bare face today, and bare faces are different, right? It's the same as before, right?"
In particular, Soyou repeatedly clarified, "There are people saying I had lip fillers. I didn't. My lips stay the same unless I get work done. But when you definitely lose weight your features become sharper. Makeup artists really like my eyes, but when I lose weight the eye hollows appear. Staff know that the more tired I am, the deeper the hollows get. If you look at photos from 'PDA' you can see they're a bit sunken. It's because I was exhausted and my eyes sank. As they kept sinking at that time I told them they shouldn't sink any more. Today the hollows aren't showing."
She candidly admitted, "I appreciate those who have commented a lot about plastic surgery. Thank you for thinking I'm pretty. I transform with makeup like this, and for those who aren't confident about their lips, try copying mine. You'll see they look much bigger. I enlarged them by half. You can fool people with makeup. But you have to keep applying it."
