Singer Sung Si-kyung and actress Moon Ga-young will serve as MCs for the 40th Golden Disc Awards.
On the 11th, HLL, the organizer and promoter of the Golden Disc Awards, said, "Sung Si-kyung and Moon Ga-young will serve as MCs for the 40th Golden Disc Awards, to be held on Jan. 10, 2026, at Taipei Dome (TAIPEI DOME)."
The MC pairing of Sung Si-kyung and Moon Ga-young comes after one year. At the 39th ceremony, with Moon Ga-young joining, the Golden Disc Awards became a three-MC system of Sung Si-kyung, Moon Ga-young and Cha Eun-woo. With Cha Eun-woo temporarily absent due to military enlistment, Sung Si-kyung and Moon Ga-young will lead the celebration together for a second consecutive year and guide the festivities magnificently.
Sung Si-kyung will hold the Golden Disc MC microphone for the 10th year. Known as the "voice of the Golden Disc" for his soothing voice and steady hosting, Sung Si-kyung has acted as a bridge between artists and fans around the world.
