The blue-hued Wendy met the red sun.
Wendy on the 10th at 6 p.m. released the full tracks of her third mini album Cerulean Verge and the music video for the title track Sunkiss through various online music sites.
Wendy, who debuted as a member of Red Velvet, began full-scale solo activities in 2021 with the release of her first mini album Like Water. Following Like Water, Wendy continued her solo career with the releases When This Rain Stops and Wish You Hell, soothing listeners and offering healing with songs that showcase her outstanding vocal ability and delicate sensibility.
Cerulean Verge is a new release for Wendy about a year and a half after her second mini album Wish You Hell, which was released in March last year. As it is her first album after moving from SM Entertainment to Ascend, she wanted to express her journey of finding her own color in a distinctive way.
A year and a half ago, Wendy offered a rhythmic melody and a refreshing, clear vocal in Wish You Hell. Cerulean Verge is a record of a journey that captures the excitement and anxiety of standing on the brink of a blue boundary and the certainty of moving beyond it, honestly portraying the process of taking steady steps even when facing an unfamiliar reality.

The title track Sunkiss is an alternative pop track that blends bright piano sounds with refreshing guitar riffs, full of cool and buoyant energy.
In the chorus, Wendy's clear, powerful high-pitched vocals burst forth, maximizing the dynamics and elevating the emotion. As a song that captures the thrill and elation of the moment when the blue-hued Wendy meets the red light of the sun and moves toward a new world, listeners can also feel overwhelming and heart-fluttering emotions.
Cerulean Verge contains six tracks in total, including the title track Sunkiss, Fireproof, EXISTENTIAL CRISIS, Hate², Chapter You, and Believe. In particular, Wendy proved her further developed musical capabilities by including her first self-composed song, Hate², on the solo album she released after a year and a half and as her first album with her new agency.
Along with the release of her solo album, Wendy plans to continue meeting fans through active activities. She will begin her first solo world tour with 2025 Wendy first world tour 'We Are Alive' in Seoul at Jangchung Arena on the 20th and 21st, and will perform 17 shows in 15 cities including Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, San Francisco, Pasadena, Sugar Land, Chicago, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Macao, and Manila.
