Singer and TV personality Kim Jong-kook is set to join the same agency as G-Dragon (GD) and actor Song Kang-ho.
Galaxy Corporation, an artificial intelligence (AI) entertech corporations, said on the 10th that it signed an exclusive contract with Kim Jong-kook. Marking the 30th anniversary of his debut, Kim is preparing an album release and a concert.
Galaxy Corporation currently represents singer G-Dragon and actor Song Kang-ho. CEO Choi Yong-ho said, "Kim Jong-kook achieved great success in both group and solo activities and is a multi-entertainer who has established a unique presence as an entertainer," and added, "We are pleased to become partners to open the AI entertech era together."
Kim Jong-kook debuted in 1995 as part of the two-member dance group Turbo. After 2001, he worked as a solo singer and set a record in 2005 by winning the grand prize at all three terrestrial broadcasters' music awards. He has also been active as a variety show entertainer, winning the SBS Entertainment Awards in 2020. Most recently, he drew attention after holding a wedding with a non-celebrity.
