"The Taste Musketeers" Kwon Yul x Yeon Woo-jin x Lee Jung-shin check out Fukuoka's representative hot spots, from a popular restaurant even Choo Sung Hoon waits in line for to CNBLUE's regular cafe.
On the episode airing at 9:20 p.m. Thursday the 11th, the Channel S and SK Broadband co-production "The Taste Musketeers" shows Kwon Yul, Yeon Woo-jin and Lee Jung-shin attempting a complete conquest of hot-spot restaurants in Fukuoka, Japan. Last week the three, who broke a sweat searching out local restaurants with no tourists, change strategies this time and attempt a frontal assault on popular restaurants frequently visited by Koreans. Kwon Yul proposes the mission, saying, "Let's try the food and see if it's worth waiting this long."
Acting like the eldest, Kwon Yul, who took charge of breakfast, fires up his passion by lining up for an open-run from 9 a.m. at a restaurant that opens at 11. The restaurant he chose even appeared on Choo Sung Hoon's YouTube channel and is a Fukuoka representative waiting-list restaurant where you must wait at least an hour to enter. Yeon Woo-jin and Lee Jung-shin join Kwon Yul at the restaurant, daydreaming happily while shouting "brunch" and "omelet rice." But when a completely unexpected breakfast menu is revealed, an awkward silence falls among the three. Kwon Yul chokes up, saying, "You were hoping it wouldn't be this, right?" and Yeon Woo-jin and Lee Jung-shin try to steady their brother's morale with the white lie, "We said we wanted to eat this and came." Curiosity rises about the identity of the "Choo Sung Hoon restaurant" for which Kwon Yul endured up to a two-hour wait for his younger colleagues.
After the meal, the three move to a regular cafe often visited by Lee Jung-shin and CNBLUE members to enjoy dessert. But an unexpected incident occurs there.
Exhausted from the open-run since morning, Kwon Yul suddenly had his thigh struck by Yeon Woo-jin. The unexpected assault shocks the scene, and Kwon Yul, dazed, can only blink in bewilderment. What is the real reason Yeon Woo-jin delivered such a "powerful blow" to Kwon Yul? The tale of their laughter- and tension-filled Fukuoka hot-spot conquest and the unpredictable backstage revolt airs.
Meanwhile, on the 9th it became known that Kwon Yul's wife is Hwang Ji-mi, the younger sister of actress Hwang Seung-eon. The woman known as Kwon Yul's wife made a surprise appearance with Hwang Seung-eon on Tcast's Follow Me 7 in 2015. At the time, the sisters did a joint photo shoot and drew attention after receiving lavish praise from on-site staff, who called them "superior genes" and said "the younger sister resembles Zhang Ziyi."
