Former Fin.K.L member Ok Joo-hyun revealed behind-the-scenes stories about settlements during her Fin.K.L days and her feelings about the remake work on 4-person table.
The channel A program 4-person table broadcast on the 8th featured the story of Ok Joo-hyun, who debuted in 1998 with Blue Rain and sparked a girl group syndrome.
That day Ok Joo-hyun recalled, "Although it was a short active period of four years and six months, it felt like I had been active for more than 10 years. The schedule was packed, and it was a time that passed as intensely as that."
Especially when the topic of settlements came up, candid answers followed. Ok Joo-hyun said, "At the time, my parents managed the income, and the boss gave us pocket money directly," adding, "When we traveled abroad, we received several hundred thousand won per member. There was a time when the four of us together received 3 million won, which was a large sum then." She continued with a laugh, "Pocket money would disappear if you didn't spend it, so we ended up spending it all. We bought gifts for family members, and Hyori unnie was also a big spender. On the other hand, Sung Yuri and Lee Jin saved money and were often caught by their mothers."
Ok Joo-hyun also shared her feelings about remaking Blue Rain 28 years after her debut. She explained, "Through musical theater, a lot of middle and high school fans who came to know me increased. So I wanted to show 'singer Ok Joo-hyun' again. The existence of Fin.K.L is an inseparable part of my life, so I sang it anew with gratitude."
She also revealed that FEEL YOUR LOVE was worked on with Lee Hyori. Ok Joo-hyun said, "Meeting Hyori unnie again in the recording studio felt so strange and touching. I felt regret and sadness wondering if the four of us could reunite," adding, "It's amazing and I am grateful that time has passed." She continued, "I want to continue remakes to pass hit songs to the next generation. WHITE will be released soon. However, I'm not yet brave enough for 'To My Boyfriend,'" she said with a smile.
