Singer Ji Chang-min will participate in the MBC ON 'Trot Champion' recording held on the 11th, solidifying his position as a rising trot artist. This stage is expected to be an opportunity for Ji Chang-min, who marks his first anniversary since debut, to showcase his musical activities and growth over the past year.
Ji Chang-min debuted in September 2024 with his first single album 'It's Me(It's Me)' and built his own musical color by taking on various genres such as trot, ballad, and Latin-style semi-trot. His subsequent releases, 'Caramel Macchiato' and the remake 'Mitchang,' received public acclaim, proving his unique sensibility and vocal charm.
Over the past year he has remained active by appearing on various broadcasts, including performances and festival stages across the country as well as OBS Radio's 'Lee Chang-myung's Special Song', Yeosu MBC's 'Trot Class', and CJB's 'National TOP10 Song Show'. In particular, he proved his potential as a rising artist and his stage presence by successfully concluding a solo concert at Busan Kumuda Concert Hall last May.
His agency D-Day & Show said, "Marking his first anniversary since debut, Ji Chang-min is expanding his musical capabilities through diverse activities and growing to the next level," adding, "He will continue to present sincere music on stage."
Ji Chang-min, who will present a new stage through the MBC ON 'Trot Champion' recording on the 11th, is scheduled to meet viewers through the main broadcast on the 25th.
