Fans of Youngtak spread a positive influence.
On the 10th, Korea Habitat for Humanity, an international nonprofit housing welfare organization, said that the singer Youngtak's official fandom, Youngtak&Blues (YOUNGTAK&BLUES), donated 34,303,299 won to commemorate Youngtak's 20th debut anniversary.
The donation, voluntarily collected by fans nationwide, will be used for housing environment improvements for elderly neighbors vulnerable in housing carried out by Korea Habitat for Humanity.
Fans who participated in the donation said they had come together to share the hope and comfort Youngtak has conveyed through his music over the past 20 years with society, and added that they will continue charitable work in the name of the fandom.
Korea Habitat for Humanity said the fact that a fandom shares an artist's precious anniversary through donation gives a strong resonance to our society, and expressed gratitude, saying the valuable donations will be used transparently for improving the housing environments of neighbors struggling with housing problems.
Meanwhile, Korea Habitat for Humanity's "Everyday anniversary" campaign is a special sponsorship campaign that allows people to celebrate not only personal anniversaries such as weddings, births and first birthdays, but also special days such as the debut anniversaries and birthdays of artists they like by donating, and applications can be submitted at any time on the Korea Habitat for Humanity website.
