The 125-year-old global premium running brand Saucony Korea has selected actor Kwon Hwa-woon as its brand ambassador.
This ambassador selection was based on the judgment that the value of "running together as one (RUN AS ONE)" that Saucony pursues aligns with Kwon Hwa-woon's consistency, sincerity and harmonious energy.
Saucony plans to present a variety of content, including running campaigns that share the joy of running and the value of community with Kwon Hwa-woon, and participation in global marathon events.
Kwon Hwa-woon completed a full marathon within 2 hours 59 minutes (sub-3) just six months after starting marathon training and currently holds the fastest time among celebrity runners in Korea (2 hours 45 minutes 54 seconds), drawing attention from the running community. He also participated in the 2025 San Francisco Marathon and the Sydney Marathon wearing Saucony's Endorphin Elite 2, delivering impressive performances.
A Saucony official said, "We selected him as an ambassador because we judged that Saucony's stylish image and the Endorphin line's outstanding performance, which concentrates advanced technology, fit well with Kwon Hwa-woon's sophisticated sensibility and healthy lifestyle."
He will notably attend "Saucony The Maze Seoul" held at DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) on the 27th, where he will begin his first official activities as a brand ambassador through interaction and performances with runners.
