"Love, Take Two" Jang Deok-su's heartfelt farewell comment upon the show's end has been released.
On the 9th, as the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Love, Take Two" concluded successfully, actor Jang Deok-su, who played the young Ryu Jeong-seok (played by Park Hae-joon) and opened the first-love narrative, shared his reflections on finishing another project.
Through his agency Secret ENT, he said, "Before I knew it, time has passed and 'Love, Take Two' has come to an end" expressing regret, and added, "I want to sincerely thank the director and the on-site staff who always treated me with smiles and lively spirits on set," showing gratitude to the production team with whom he worked closely for a long time.
Jang Deok-su continued, "I, who still have many shortcomings, was honored to be able to act in such an excellent work and wonderful environment," and added, "I learned so much through this production, and these were meaningful days in which I was able to grow further as an actor. I think they will remain unforgettable moments in my acting life. I hope to become an even better actor and meet again with all the people who made the drama," revealing his great affection for the drama.
Finally, he concluded his remarks with a warm greeting, "I sincerely thank the viewers who watched and loved the personally unforgettable 'Love, Take Two' until the end!"
Jang Deok-su shed the intense villain image he showed in previous works and played the role of a mood maker in "Love, Take Two." His clear, large eyes and charming visuals and warm atmosphere tickled hearts, and though he seemed indifferent, his tsundere side, always steadfastly by Lee Ji-an's (played by Won Yoo-jin) side, brought pink-tinged fun.
Also, his explosive passionate acting earned positive reactions. The emotional acting, drawn with various details such as his gaze and expressions, left viewers with a deep aftertaste and strong immersion.
As such, Jang Deok-su firmly played a leading role that drove one axis of the story. He appeared in three consecutive works from the drama "Our Unwritten Seoul" to "Cheongdam International High School Season 2" and "Love, Take Two," cementing his place among rising stars. Expectations are rising about what he will show in his next project as his momentum continues.
