Actress Jeon Sara achieved first place in short-form content with 'A stormy marriage life.'
The short-form drama 'A stormy marriage life,' released on the 4th, has surpassed 10 million views on Drama Box in a short period, attracting attention. Notably, it ranked first in the Korean region of Drama Box, establishing itself as the most notable work in the short-form drama market.
In the work, Jeon Sara plays the role of 'Seo Ji-an,' the only daughter of one of the world's top 10 conglomerates. She portrays a character who hides her identity under her father's excessive affection and control, delicately expressing the conflicts and love encountered through a contractual marriage. She particularly draws attention through her chemistry with senior actor Lee Sang-yeob.
'A stormy marriage life' was released through Drama Box, a global short-form platform based in Singapore. Drama Box leads the global market, recording 140 million cumulative downloads and $600 million (approximately 830 billion won) in cumulative revenue in just 20 months since launch. This achievement signifies that Jeon Sara can gain attention on the global stage, beyond the domestic market.
The production was handled by Studio Ho Woo, led by director Lee Chang-woo, who also directed the project to enhance its quality. Future collaborations with global platforms such as Short Max are expected to continue expanding overseas.
