Actor Hwang Seung-eon spoke about the marriage news of her biological sister and actor Kwon Yul.
On the 9th, actor Hwang Seung-eon gave a brief statement to OSEN, saying, "It's not something I should speak about, I'm sorry."
Earlier, one outlet reported that the wife of Kwon Yul, who became a groom in May, is Hwang Seung-eon's biological younger sister.
The marriage of Kwon Yul and his wife became known with less than a week remaining before the ceremony. Later, on May 24, according to entertainment industry sources, Kwon Yul's wedding was held as a solemn church ceremony.
The woman known as Kwon Yul's wife, Ms. Hwang, reportedly made a surprise appearance with Hwang Seung-eon on T-cast's Follow Me 7 in 2015. At the time, the sisters posed together for a photo shoot and drew attention by receiving high praise from on-site staff, who called them "superior genes" and said "the younger sister resembles Zhou Xun."
In response, agency Team Hope told OSEN in an official statement, "Actor Kwon Yul's wife is a non-celebrity, and we ask for your understanding that we cannot confirm specific family-related details."
As such, little is known about Ms. Hwang, the wife of Kwon Yul, including her age and specific details, which raised curiosity.
However, Hwang Seung-eon, the older sister, also showed a cautious stance, saying she had "nothing to say" out of consideration for her non-celebrity younger sister.
Meanwhile, Kwon Yul is an actor who debuted in the 2007 SBS drama Dalryeora Godeungeo. He is also the nephew of veteran actress Choi Myung-gil.
