MAMAMOO member Solar is making her screen debut.
Solar will appear in the film 'Guisy,' set to be released nationwide on the 17th, marking her transition into a rookie actress. 'Guisy' is a work that deals with a chilling story of people trying to obtain what they cannot have in the ghost transaction market 'Guisy,' which unfolds when the female window opens.
In the film, Solar plays the role of Miyeon, who visits a rural village to fulfill her dream of becoming a renowned writer. Miyeon becomes entangled in strange events involving an ancient tree that is regarded as a guardian spirit of the village.
In particular, Solar challenges herself with her first screen acting role through 'Guisy.' There are expectations that viewers will encounter Solar's unique charm, as she has proven her solid acting skills and expressiveness through various musical works, including 'Mata Hari' and 'Notre-Dame de Paris.'
Thus, Solar has solidified her position as a versatile all-rounder, encompassing both music and acting. With an unlimited spectrum, Solar is set to hold a solo concert, 'Solar (Solar) 3rd CONCERT 'Solaris',' at the Concert Hall of Yonsei University's Centennial Memorial Hall in Seoul on October 11-12, where she will meet her fans.
