K-action hero series Twelve released a character music video for the OST "Taesan," for which Tiger JK personally participated in writing the lyrics. Along with this, it is drawing attention for its stellar lineup of artists who participated in the OST.
Twelve is an action hero show in which 12 angels fight against forces of evil to protect the human world.
Twelve has once again shown an innovation. It released a music video that animated the series' characters with AI, offering viewers a new level of immersion. The music video released this time is Twelve OST PART.1 "Taesan," for which hip-hop godfather Tiger JK personally contributed lyrics and vocals, and it is also the theme song for "Taesan" (Ma Dong-seok), who symbolizes the tiger. It realized the main characters and the universe as AI animation, further highlighting dynamic action and the charm of the characters, and combined intense orchestral sounds with hip-hop to vividly convey the fate borne by "Taesan."
This music video is a meaningful project that, in connection with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) "2025 content open innovation" support program, collaborated with promising content startups and, aligned with LG Uplus' AX business direction, expands efficiency and creativity through a new content production method using AI technology.
The artist lineup participating in the Twelve OST is also dazzling. OST PART.2 "Guwon" features ZEROBASEONE's Ricky, Park Geon-wook, and Han Yoo-jin. As the theme song for "Ogwi" (Park Hyung-sik), who symbolizes the raven and is a powerful force of evil, it conveys a message of accepting and moving forward with one's destiny amid repeated betrayal and anguish. OST PART.3 "Unfate Love" is a song for which the angel who symbolizes the monkey, "Wonseung" played by Seo In-guk, personally participated in writing the lyrics; it sings of the fated love between "Ogwi" and "Mir" (Lee Joo-bin), powerfully stirring the emotional line. A combined album containing all tracks of Twelve's original soundtrack is scheduled to be released on Sep. 20 (Sat), and it is expected to be a special gift to soothe the regret of the finale.
Twelve, which delivered emotions and chills beyond the drama with its special music video and an OST lineup that will remain legendary, airs every Sat. and Sun. at 9:20 p.m. on KBS 2TV's weekend miniseries slot, and is available to viewers worldwide on Disney+ immediately after broadcast.
