Actress Jang Seo-yeon expressed her deep gratitude and affection to viewers along with her thoughts on the conclusion of the Amazon Prime Video series and tvN special project "Butterfly."
Jang Seo-yeon played the role of "Moon," the secretary and capable elite agent of Juno (played by Piper Perabo), the head of the secret organization "Cadis," showcasing her distinct performance and leaving a strong impression on viewers around the world.
Jang Seo-yeon showed a flawless appearance each episode in a suit, never parting with her headset and cellphone, performing her duties calmly and meticulously. She excellently expressed the essence of a professional elite agent and the secretary of the representative of a secret organization, and her beautiful yet outstanding English skills added realism to her character.
Jang Seo-yeon noted, "I had a vague dream of working on a Hollywood project someday, and I was so happy to work with senior Daniel Dae Kim. It was also very special to be able to grant with senior Korean actors in this project, even though it's a mid-series. Although there were no scenes together, it was significant and great to be able to breathe in the same project with prominent seniors like Park Hae-soo, Kim Tae-hee, and Kim Ji-hoon."
Additionally, regarding the character she played, she explained, "Moon is a rational person who understands Juno's needs first and prepares in advance, so I styled her and adjusted her speech and walking style to reflect those traits, which was a new challenge for me."
Regarding her positively received English performance, she said, "I have always wanted to try acting in English, but it has not been easy to find opportunities. I'm glad to have received a good response. With this project, I hope to cultivate good relationships abroad and be able to introduce myself to many people, so 'Butterfly' is a truly meaningful project for me."
