Broadcaster Park Myung-soo shared his frustrating experience of a car accident.
On the broadcast aired on the 8th on KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show,' listeners' frustrating stories were introduced in a special segment titled 'When You're Angry'.
On that day, a listener sent in a story saying, "I was really angry because of a car that cut in recklessly without signaling on my way to work." Park Myung-soo empathized, saying, "There are so many rude people out there."
He recalled, "Suddenly cut in and I slammed the brakes, but then he turned around and said, 'Why don't you move?' Then the family members in the car came out and started yelling too. I remember once, a long time ago, encountering something like that."
Park Myung-soo recounted, "He bumped into my car. Aren't you angry? I didn't get out, but my manager did. When he got out, suddenly, the four people inside were family members. They all jumped out and started shouting. I wasn't in the wrong; I was the one who got hit. Since I was hit, I need to take a picture. But they were arguing about why I was taking pictures. The family was causing a scene."
He continued, "I was debating whether or not to get out and ended up not getting out. In the end, I just left. There wasn't a big dent. They should have come and apologized, but the whole family jumped out and started attacking my manager. I thought if I got out, things would escalate, so I didn't get out, but I shouldn't have done that. If there's a right or wrong, you should apologize. In that case, most things can be resolved. But the way they charged at me, would they just collapse?"
He added, "Five people jumped out of the car. Can you imagine how scared I was? There were middle school and elementary school kids too. I mentioned it because it reminded me of that experience. Of course, I didn't even get an apology, just 'Hey, just go' is what I remember from that occasion."
