The tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "For First Love" (directed by Yoo Je-won, written by Seong Woo-jin, planned and produced by Studio Dragon and Showrunners) unveiled stills on the 8th, just before the broadcast of the 11th episode, showing Lee Hyori (Choi Yoon-ji) on the day of her surgery (D-day) and those who gathered at the hospital for her, including Yum Jung-ah (played by Lee Ji-an), Ryu Jung-seok (Park Hae-joon), and Ryu Bo-hyun (Kim Min-kyu).
In the previous broadcast, Lee Ji-an and her daughter, Lee Hyori, experienced a spring in their lives. The long-awaited happiness of Lee Ji-an and Ryu Jung-seok's middle-aged romance, along with the young and heart-fluttering romance between Lee Hyori and Ryu Bo-hyun, painted Cheonghae Village in pink. In the midst of this, Lee Hyori's brain tumor surgery date was suddenly set, and Lee Ji-an decided to believe that "spring" would come again for her and her daughter.
The photos released that day show Lee Hyori preparing for surgery, and the strong presence of those keeping her company catches the eye. The support from "guardians" Yum Jung-ah, Ryu Jung-seok, Ryu Bo-hyun, Jeong Mun-hee (played by Kim Mi-kyung), and Lee Sook (Yang Yu-jin) conveys deeper feelings than words. In particular, the comfort from Ryu Jung-seok, who understands the unspoken worries and fears between mother and daughter, along with Ryu Bo-hyun's encouragement, becomes an immense strength.
