On that day, Yoon Min-soo asked his son Yoon-ho, now a student at a prestigious U.S. university, "Don't you have a girlfriend in America? Are you still single?" To this, Yoon-ho answered, "No," and Yoon Min-soo remarked, "Joon-soo held hands in middle school; what about you?"
Yoon Min-soo found his son adorable and asked, "Do you still keep in touch?" When he inquired about how they parted ways, Yoon-ho replied, "I heard she's doing well," and added, "We broke up via message. I didn't say anything, it was mutual." Yoon Min-soo expressed concern, saying "Oh, that's frustrating," feeling upset about his son's situation. Yet Yoon-ho maintained a cool demeanor, stating, "That's just how things are."
When Yoon Min-soo asked, "What happened to make you break up? Was it a mismatch?" Yoon-ho shared, "I think that's what happened," revealing a heart-wrenching story. Yoon Min-soo responded, "Everyone grows through such experiences." Notably, Yoon-ho mentioned, "It was during my first year of high school; I studied hard from then on," explaining how he channeled his pain into studying. Yoon Min-soo laughed, saying, "No wonder your grades were good back then," and comforted him, saying, "You did well going to university in the U.S.; that's important for your growth."
Yoon Min-soo added, "Is the person you are seeing now from another country?" naturally leading to more questions. Yoon-ho replied, "I haven't met anyone in America," but when Yoon Min-soo pressed for confirmation, Yoon-ho's denial ended in laughter as he insisted, "No."
Eventually, he warned, "I won't say anything because I'm worried Dad might bother me," to which Yoon Min-soo replied, "Actually, I'm being nice." Yoon-ho shot back, saying, "I will hide to ensure the other person never feels bothered by me," adding, "I'll run to the ends of the earth. No matter the circumstances, I will find you. I will chase you to the ends of the earth."
