Jang: Thanks to my connection with CP Lee Seung-hoon during the pilot broadcast in May, I was invited as a guest. The production team was very appreciative, and because of that connection, I joined for the regular season as well. Kim: The moment a new life is born is always touching and special. I believe we will be able to share such precious moments together. I joined 'Our Baby' with the hope of feeling the meaning of family again and contributing a bit in this low birthrate era.
2. Do you have any connections with the other 'birth correspondents'? Please share a bit about your relationships. Jang: I met Mr. Park Soo-hong during the pilot, and he was very considerate and polite. I have been a classmate with Mr. Kim Chan-woo from the 19th MBC casting class; this is our first time appearing together in a variety show, and I was so glad to see him after 20 years. He feels like a cousin to me. Kim: Ms. Jang Seo-hee is my classmate from the MBC talent program. We reunited after 20 years. I didn't have direct friendships with the other members, but as we naturally shared our experiences and thoughts during filming, it seems we became close very quickly.
3. Do you have any memorable episodes from filming? Jang: I remember having to rush to shoot for a mother who needed to deliver urgently without having time for makeup, so I wore a hat for the filming. Kim: I found that the delivery time took longer than expected. I felt the time dragging on due to the tension I shared with the husband.
4. What would you like to learn or see through 'Our Baby' moving forward? Jang: I think I will gain a renewed sense of gratitude for my mother. I also hope that through 'Our Baby,' not only childbirth but also the care that follows will be well-managed, and that many welfare systems for mothers and babies will emerge. Kim: By seeing the scene directly, I am learning a lot about the childbirth process and medical terminology that I was previously unaware of. 5.
