'Believing and listening' MONSTA X (MONSTA X: Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, IM) successfully completed their first week of activities since their full-group comeback.
MONSTA X started their activities on the 4th with Mnet's 'M Countdown' and appeared on KBS2's 'Music Bank', MBC's 'Show! Music Core', and SBS's 'Inkigayo' to showcase the stage for the title track 'N the Front' from their new mini album 'The X'.
After about five years on the music broadcast stage as a full group, MONSTA X proved their presence with explosive live performances and choreography at every stage. They displayed unwavering breath even through the intense choreography and changes in movement, showcasing their solid musical capabilities built over 10 years as the vocal line and rap line flexibly transitioned between each other's positions.
The point choreography also drew attention. The intuitive movement of raising their hands high to match the lyrics 'Hands up' and a gesture reminiscent of wearing a wristwatch amplified MONSTA X's unique masculinity and mature mood, enhancing the sense of immersion.
The comeback interview segment also attracted attention. All six members, as expected from a group with MC and DJ experience, brought energy to the broadcast with their seasoned banter with music broadcast MCs, solidifying the presence of 'original entertainment idols' with their witty remarks.
Released on the 1st, 'N the Front' is a track that contains MONSTA X's declaration of 'facing forward without retreat.' With its heavy bass, intense drums, and assertive vocals and rap delivering overwhelming immersion, the American music magazine Rolling Stone noted that it 'seems likely to appeal to various generations.'
Recently, MONSTA X has been continuing their 'N the Front' comeback activities, appearing across various music broadcasts and diverse content. From Shownu, who is performing as a fixed MC on the web entertainment 'Nopo Gi', to their appearances in Mnet's 'National Shine Tour', web shows 'Limousine Service', and 'Bapsahyo', they have expanded their presence, while Jooheon has been chosen as the solo MC for the web entertainment 'Kind Messenger - Sim Cheong' set to be released in October, increasing expectations.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X is expected to continue their activities with the new song 'N the Front' through various music broadcasts and diverse content.
