Singer Sean discussed his charity efforts on 'Omniscient Interfering View'.
In the episode of MBC's entertainment program 'Omniscient Interfering View' that aired on the 6th, Sean appeared, spreading donations through marathons while also promoting the establishment of a Lou Gehrig's disease hospice and a children's rehabilitation hospital.
Sean has consistently continued his charitable activities. After marrying Jeong Hye-yeong, he has made donations every year.
Sean said, "When I went to visit the hospital after it was built, a mother came toward me with her child in a wheelchair. She told the child, 'Try to walk.'" He expressed gratitude and the need for a children's rehabilitation hospital. Noting that Song Il-kook, GD, and Song Eun-yi have also donated to the hospital, Sean described how he realized the need for a children's rehabilitation hospital through Eun-choong. He noted, "I became a promotional ambassador, and I heard that 32 billion won is required to build it. If one person saves 3.65 million won for a year, it will quickly add up with ten thousand people."
Sean's second son, Harang, suggested to him the establishment of an alternative school. It is reported that BLACKPINK's Jennie donated 100 million won. Additionally, Sean was the first person to promote the ice bucket challenge in Korea. He said, "When you pour ice water over yourself, your muscles contract instantly. That feeling is what Lou Gehrig's patients experience every moment." He added, "I nominated G-Dragon, and afterward, EXO's Suho and Jun Hyun-moo followed."
