The nation's MC, Yoo Jae-suk, has become embroiled in a controversy over "dictatorship".
On the afternoon of the 6th, the MBC entertainment program "What Do You Do When You Play?" featured Yoo Jae-suk and Joo Woo-jae meeting with participants to prepare the setlist for the '80s Seoul Music Awards.
That day, Yoo Jae-suk and Joo Woo-jae first met Lee Jeok, Ha Dong-kyun, Lee Yong-jin, and Jeong Seong-hwa to discuss the music awards' setlist. The first to appear was Lee Jeok, who comfortably participated as he is close with Yoo Jae-suk.
Yoo Jae-suk asked Lee Jeok, "Did you say recently that 'being an entertainer doesn't seem like my job'?" To which Lee Jeok replied, "You are also not an entertainer. Your personality and your face..." making a joke that caused laughter.
Lee Jeok continued, "The most embarrassing time for me is when I go to an event, and those people see an entertainer for the first time, and it's me." He added, "I came after watching 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'..."
Lee Jeok also expressed his worries, saying, "These days, I let out a sigh of relief that I was called here; I would have been so worried if I had been called to 'In-Sa-Mo'... I still think about it in my sleep. I did 'Mo-Chin-So' too. If they tell me to do 'In-Sa-Mo', it means I should retire. I was deceived then as well."
Once all the participants gathered, they began the setlist meeting. The participants mentioned the songs they had in mind, and Yoo Jae-suk and Joo Woo-jae also proposed several candidates. In particular, Yoo Jae-suk drew attention by smiling positively each time he mentioned a dance song he liked.
In response, Lee Yong-jin asked Yoo Jae-suk, "You are the most respected senior, but is it right for a comedian to control the music awards?" This elicited laughter.
