Choa, a former member of the group Crayon Pop, has overcome cervical cancer and finally shared joyful news.
Choa said on the 5th, "Everyone, finally a precious life we have longed for so eagerly has come to our couple." She noted, "I received a cancer diagnosis 2 years ago and was told by several university hospitals that I would not be able to have children, but I never gave up and, after meeting with the hospital and professors who preserved my fertility, I was able to successfully recover after finishing my cancer surgery."
She continued, "After several attempts to conceive, I challenged myself to in vitro fertilization, and miraculously, I got pregnant on the first try!" She went on, "I wanted to share this joyful news as soon as possible, but in the very early stages, I was so cautious that I held back (with happy morning sickness and nausea, it became harder to hide)."
In particular, Choa is pregnant with twins. She shared, "Today marks the 10 weeks and 2 days mark, and I would like to introduce my precious two children, Heart and Cute identical twins!!" She added, "Since I have no cervix and am at risk of premature birth, I intentionally implanted only one embryo, but it naturally divided to become identical twins. They say there's a 1% chance of that happening."
Choa remarked, "At first, I was worried, but now all I think about is to take good care and ensure I give birth to them healthily!"
Finally, she expressed, "Thank you so very much to the online aunts and uncles, family, and friends who sent me heartfelt messages of comfort and encouragement, as well as shared many good words and even dreamed good dreams for me! See you in March next year."
Meanwhile, Choa married a businessman who is 6 years older than her in June 2021. This year, in her 5th year of marriage, Choa received a shocking cervical cancer diagnosis during a health checkup while preparing for pregnancy in her first year of marriage and underwent surgery in August 2023 after finding medical professionals who could perform cancer removal while preserving her fertility.
