On the 5th, local Chinese entertainment media such as Sina Entertainment revealed on social media that Koo Jun-yeob was seen at the Rose Garden cemetery in Jinbo Mountain, Taiwan, where Seo Hee-won is laid to rest.
According to the reports, Koo Jun-yeob encountered a fan who had come to visit Seo Hee-won's grave from the United States. The fan of Seo Hee-won stated, "Koo Jun-yeob was sitting in front of Seo Hee-won's grave alone from 7 a.m., carefully drawing a picture of Seo Hee-won on his iPad. In front of the grave were couple photos of Seo Hee-won and Koo Jun-yeob, as well as honey and sandwiches."
In particular, Koo Jun-yeob comforted a fan who accidentally shed tears on the gravestone by saying, "It's okay," and even wiped the gravestone himself, while giving up his spot to the fan, saying, "You can talk too."
In addition, Koo Jun-yeob was captured protecting Seo Hee-won's grave even during heavy rain. He has reportedly been by her side for six months since Seo Hee-won's grave was established in March, evoking emotion.
Koo Jun-yeob and Seo Hee-won met in the 1990s and dated for about two years before breaking up. Seo Hee-won later married Chinese businessman Wang So-bi in 2011 and had one son and one daughter; however, they faced a breakup in 2021. Following this, Koo Jun-yeob contacted Seo Hee-won again, leading to their rekindled romance, and they became a couple in 2022, garnering attention for their movie-like love story.
However, on February 2, Seo Hee-won traveled to Japan for a family vacation and unexpectedly passed away due to influenza accompanied by pneumonia, evoking sorrow.
