Actor Ma Dong-seok's Korean-style action hero series 'Twelve' is attracting attention.
Today (6th) KBS 2TV's weekend mini-series 'Twelve' episode 5 will air.
'Twelve' captivates home viewers with the solid chemistry between the characters and the perfect teamwork of the actors. In particular, the chemistry created by the three characters, Tae-san (played by Ma Dong-seok), Won-seung (played by Seo In-guk), and Mi-rae (played by Lee Joo-bin), enhances the drama's immersion and invigorates the show.
Tae-san shows a heavy charisma and overwhelming combat power, standing at the center of the fight to protect humanity, even amidst disappointment in people. Won-seung reveals his presence as a potential leader by battling against evil forces with nimble movements and strategic judgments. Mi-rae, a character holding the key to the direction of the incident, will play an important role in the unfolding events. The synergy created by the characters with their unique charms is considered one of the biggest strengths of 'Twelve.'
In this, Ma Dong-seok firmly anchors the show while allowing Seo In-guk and Lee Joo-bin to shine equally, showcasing the essence of teamwork. Thanks to this, 'Twelve' is evolving into a more three-dimensional and tension-filled narrative, intertwining the relationships and dynamics of the three characters beyond just individual actions.
Especially after episode 5, the three characters, Tae-san, Won-seung, and Mi-rae, will face off against evil forces in their own ways, sharing the weight of the narrative. To combat the stronger evil forces, these individuals, each with different personalities and abilities, will collaborate as one team. The united Tae-san, Won-seung, and Mi-rae are expected to depict deep emotional arcs as they confront hardships.
'Twelve' is opening a new horizon in the K-action hero genre, dynamically expanding its universe and characters. As the narrative drama and the perfect chemistry of the actors combine, viewer expectations are rising with each episode. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 p.m. on KBS 2TV and is available on Disney+.
