The passing of YouTuber Daedoseogwan (real name Na Dong-hyeon, 46) has shocked fans.
According to a report by Herald Economy on the 6th, Daedoseogwan was found dead at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at around 8:40 a.m. on that day.
It is reported that he was discovered by police and firefighters who were dispatched following a report from an acquaintance stating that he had not shown up at the agreed time and was not responding to messages.
Fans were also shocked by this news. Comments such as "This news can't be true, right?", "Is this article wrong?", and "Please, I hope nothing bad has happened" are being posted on his social media.
On Daedoseogwan's YouTube channel, reactions such as "My sisters and I can't express how much we've laughed. Thank you", "I enjoyed watching Daedoseogwan's videos so much. I pray for the repose of his soul", and "Please do not suffer and rest comfortably in heaven" continue to surface.
Meanwhile, Daedoseogwan was a first-generation YouTuber who notably influenced the expansion of the one-person media era and the YouTube ecosystem. Last year, he appeared in the Netflix variety show "The Influencer."
He was also actively engaged in broadcasting until recently and even attended the 2026 S/S Seoul Fashion Week fashion show just two days ago.
