Actor Ha Seok-jin revealed his family home in Seocho-dong.
On the 5th, a new video titled 'First reveal of Seok-jin Mom's home with a lush garden' was uploaded to Ha Seok-jin's YouTube channel.
That day, Ha Seok-jin visited the detached house in Seocho-dong, Gangnam-gu, where his mother lives and explained, "This is the house I lived in briefly before I became independent. Now, my mother is here."
Ha Seok-jin said, "Numerous subscribers are saying, 'Oh? The mother-in-law's home.'" He added, "It would be very difficult if my mom were my mother-in-law..." but couldn't continue.
He continued, "I didn't know that my mother was abroad, but a water pipe burst, causing a flood, so we had to do the construction all at once. Because of the construction, my mother and I ended up living together for 5 to 6 months, which was unplanned."
The revealed detached house was an enormous mansion boasting impressive size. Notably, the interior design drew attention with its unique, old-fashioned style. Ha Seok-jin pointed to the underground passage and stated, "This is connected to the parking lot like the space in 'Parasite.'"
Ha Seok-jin moved to the kitchen and mentioned the alcohol in the refrigerator. Noting the absinthe famous for being drunk by Van Gogh, he said, "This is something I bought. It's 57 degrees, so it's too strong for my mom to drink. She usually prefers wine."
While showing various CDs and vintage audio equipment in the living room, Ha Seok-jin said, "Since I was young, I always spent Sundays with Beethoven and Brahms and other classics. Even now, when I listen to classical music, I think of Sunday mornings when I toasted bread. I still have the CDs."
Additionally, throughout the house, there were fireplaces, a statue of a urinating boy, and a painting by Namnong Heo Geon. The production crew also remarked, "If you appraise these, aren't they really expensive?" expressing their admiration.
Meanwhile, Ha Seok-jin will meet the audience through the film 'Full Throttle,' which is set to be released on the 10th.
