According to the music industry, the ceremony will take place in the afternoon at an undisclosed location in Seoul, with only family and close friends in attendance. Yoo Jae-suk, who has worked with Kim Jong-kook for 15 years on the SBS entertainment program 'Running Man,' will serve as the host.
The bride is a non-celebrity, and her age and occupation have not been disclosed. Kim Jong-kook recently informed the cast of 'Running Man' during a broadcast, saying, 'I am getting married. I will live diligently and well,' while introducing her as 'someone unrelated to the entertainment industry.' Additionally, last month, he posted a handwritten letter on his fan cafe, announcing his marriage by stating, 'I made my other half before my album.'
Kim Jong-kook debuted in 1995 as a member of the group Turbo, gaining popularity with hit songs like 'Recollection,' 'White Love,' and 'Twist King.' After transitioning to a solo career, he left hit songs such as 'A Man' and 'Lovely.' In 2005, he established himself as a top artist by sweeping the year-end music awards across three broadcasting stations.
He later expanded his activities into variety shows, performing in programs such as 'X-Man,' 'Family Outing,' 'Running Man,' and 'My Little Old Boy,' solidifying his position as a broadcaster when he won the grand prize at the 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards.
