The new special unit of SEVENTEEN, S.COUPS and Mingyu, is raising expectations for their new album with diverse content.
HYBE (Chairman Bang Si-hyuk) music group label Pledis Entertainment posted the promotion scheduler for S.COUPS and Mingyu's mini album 'HYPE VIBES' on SEVENTEEN's official SNS at 10 p.m. on the 4th.
According to this, S.COUPS and Mingyu will begin with 'BUDDY' and 'COMBI' versions of official photos on the 8th to 9th, followed by the tracklist on the 12th, track sampler on the 16th, and highlight medley on the 22nd. Two types of official music video teasers will be released on the 25th to 26th. The long-awaited new album and title track music video will be unveiled at 6 p.m. on the 29th.
The design, which exudes a carefree atmosphere, also draws attention. The silhouettes of the alien planet characters 'Kute' and 'Mante,' which appeared in the earlier trailer and sparked curiosity, are also included in the scheduler, revealing S.COUPS and Mingyu's unique personality.
The album title 'HYPE VIBES' signifies a hot and free atmosphere where anyone can enjoy and connect together. S.COUPS and Mingyu's attitude of living in the moment with their own rhythm, without a predetermined framework, is reflected throughout the album. The two, who have been active in various fields including music, fashion, and beauty, are expected to showcase their unique presence in this activity as well.
SEVENTEEN's group activities will continue. They will open the grand curtain of 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]' at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on the 13th to 14th. Following that, they will visit Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on the 27th to 28th, before continuing the tour to five cities in North America in October and four major domes in Japan in November to December.
