Singer Lee Hyori (45), who is opening a yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, said, "I only want to receive a grateful heart and would like to keep the training room empty," as she declined presents from acquaintances.
On the 4th, Lee Hyori posted on the official Instagram of 'Ananda Yoga Studio,' saying, "I politely decline any more pots and gifts," and added, "I aim for an empty training room so that more people can practice." She also added that she wants to focus on yoga in a space without unnecessary decorations.
On the same day, Lee Hyori shared a pot sent by broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon, leaving a message saying, "I'll succeed, oppa." Earlier, she had revealed pots sent by Yoo Jae-suk and singer Babylon.
Lee Hyori is a representative "yoga evangelist" in the entertainment industry who has consistently practiced yoga for over 10 years. Since 2023, she has been using the yoga character 'Ananda,' and the name of this yoga studio is derived from that. Ananda means "joy" or "bliss" in Sanskrit.
The yoga studio is located in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. It was initially scheduled to open in the first week of September but was postponed to the second week due to issues with the reservation system. 'Ananda Yoga Studio' will offer three classes a day and will operate on a reservation-only basis.
Lee Hyori stated, "I politely decline all sponsorships and offers," and said, "I will create an atmosphere where we can concentrate and practice quietly."
