Kim Goeun revealed that she gained weight to portray her character at 21 years old in 'You and Everything Else.'
On the morning of the 5th, a production presentation for the Netflix series 'You and Everything Else' was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, where Kim Goeun introduced her role as Eunjung, saying, "Basically, Eunjung admires and idolizes Sangyeon. Sangyeon is special and exceptional, shining as a person, unlike me. It's more about admiration and envy than jealousy; having a wonderful friend creates a strong positive emotion for such a significant character."
She added, "I had to act as 21-year-old Eunjung. I thought I would give off a teenage image, so I gained weight. When I looked at how I was as a child, I noticed my cheeks were chubby. So, I gained weight," she said. In response, Park Ji-hyun remarked, "You were so lovely," praising Kim Goeun's beauty.
'You and Everything Else' is a Netflix series that depicts the intertwined lives of two friends, Eunjung (played by Kim Goeun) and Sangyeon (played by Park Ji-hyun), who love, envy, and sometimes resent each other throughout their lives. It is set to be released on Netflix on the 12th.
