Comedian Kim Min-kyung has been selected as the MC for the closing ceremony of the 2025 Expo for Products by People with Severe Disabilities.
Kim Min-kyung will take on the role of MC for the closing ceremony of the 2025 Expo for Products by People with Severe Disabilities, which will be held at the aT Center on the 10th, continuing her meaningful efforts.
She was selected as the model for 'The Rostertle,' a baking brand operated by the Bucheon Hyerim Center, a vocational rehabilitation facility for disabled people under the Ministry of Health and Welfare, in July, and is currently serving as the first official model in the disabled products industry. Her participation as MC for this closing ceremony is also part of her ongoing efforts to support the independence and awareness of disabled individuals.
Kim Min-kyung said, "As I worked as a model for disabled products, I naturally became interested, and it led me to take on the role of MC. I hope that through me, many people will take an interest in and participate in the event," conveying her reasons and sentiments for being appointed as the MC for the closing ceremony.
She added that the reason she continues to pay attention to such events is that "people with disabilities put in much more effort to live compared to non-disabled individuals" and noted, "I wanted to help spread awareness about these efforts to more people and contribute, even just a little, to help disabled individuals live their wonderful lives independently."
