Comedian Kim Min-soo has been appointed as the promotional ambassador for his hometown, Ulsan, and will represent it as its face.
Kim Min-soo attended the '2025 Ulsan City Promotional Ambassador Appointment Ceremony' held in Ulsan on the 4th and received an official appointment plaque.
This appointment is expected to play an important role in conveying Ulsan City's aim of 'an open city with citizens, Ulsan heading towards the world' to the public and particularly to inform the younger generation and external visitors of Ulsan's diverse attractions.
Kim Min-soo said, "As a citizen who grew up in Ulsan, I am really happy and grateful to have received the honorable proposal to be the promotional ambassador for Ulsan City," adding, "With this appointment as a promotional ambassador, I will do my best to let more people know about Ulsan's beautiful nature, rich culture, and the warmth of its people, contributing even a little to the development of my hometown."
As such, Kim Min-soo is expected to continue his communication activities with local residents by participating in Ulsan's tourism, culture, and environment campaign promotions, as well as various municipal events.
