The group aespa (SME) is challenging to become a seven-time million seller with their new mini-album 'Rich Man'.
The sixth mini-album 'Rich Man' by aespa, which will be released on various music platforms at 1 p.m. today (the 5th), has surpassed approximately 1.11 million pre-orders (as of September 4), indicating it will achieve its seventh million seller status following its previous works, including mini-album 2 'Girls', mini-album 3 'MY WORLD', mini-album 4 'Drama', regular album 1 'Armageddon', mini-album 5 'Whiplash', and single 'Dirty Work'.
This album includes a total of six tracks, featuring the title track 'Rich Man', the catchy 'Drift' with its impressive whistling sound, 'Bubble', which compares the opposing party's insincere appearance, the dreamy R&B genre song 'Count On Me', the lively 'Angel #48' with its upbeat track sound, and the medium-tempo pop song 'To The Girls', showcasing aespa's diverse musical charms.
In particular, the title track 'Rich Man' is a dance song characterized by its rough electric guitar sound, with a catchy top line and a band sound that unfolds in various ways, harmonizing well with the members' unique vocals. The performance is set to deliver powerful energy with concise, catchy choreography and a building structure that intensifies toward the latter part of the song.
Additionally, the music video, which will be released simultaneously on the YouTube SMTOWN channel, interprets aespa's depiction of 'Rich Man' as an independent entity that moves to its own rhythm even in the roughest moments, vividly capturing this through car chases and rugby matches.
aespa will appear on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' this afternoon to perform 'Rich Man' for the first time on a music broadcast.
