That day, Kim Nam-joo took out household items that they have used together since their newlywed days, recalling memories. Kim Nam-joo shared, "This pillow cover was a gift from Gucci when we were newlyweds" and proudly displayed a 25-year-old carpet, saying, "I bought it at a supermarket when I first went to New York. I told him to stop living together," adding her unique wit.
What particularly caught attention was the "20-year-old vintage bathroom." Kim Nam-joo explained, "Our bathroom is bigger than the bedroom. I had to live in a house without a bathroom when I was little, so this is a form of compensation." She further explained, "In the old days, I had a TV for half-body baths, and now I have a refrigerator dedicated to cosmetics. I keep perfumes separately and spray them before going out after using the bathroom."
When asked if there had been any physiological changes between the couple, Kim Nam-joo honestly confessed, "My husband has changed, but I still haven't," adding, "I even carry a small perfume when I go on overseas trips," which elicited laughter.
Continuing her house tour, Kim Nam-joo moved to the kitchen and said, "Before the kids were born, I decorated everything prettily. But as the kids grew up, it gradually became more practical," showing the realistic side of a mother.
Kim Nam-joo, with her cheerful remarks and candid confessions, entertained the viewers. The ordinary daily life of a couple married for 19 years, along with their still newlywed-like (?) secretive marital life, resonated with the audience.
