On the program 'Travel Expense Zone,' broadcaster Kim Gu-ra visited China for the first time in 17 years, revealing his side as a 'late bloomer dad.'
On the afternoon of the 4th, the cast of KBS2's 'Travel Expense Zone'—Kim Gu-ra, Kim Tae-kyun, Kim Dong-jun, Kim Seung-jin, Lee Seok-ki, and Baek Ho—departed for the filming location in Xiamen, China, starting a special trip with a shared budget of 1 million won.
Kim Gu-ra revealed that he returned to China for the first time in 17 years since his visit to Beijing in 2008, expressing his emotions. Surprised by the rule that required the six members to travel on a budget of 1 million won per day, Kim Gu-ra reacted in disbelief.
The production team disclosed a rule that they would confiscate the card of the member who seemed to spend the most money during the trip. In response, Kim Tae-kyun jokingly remarked, "I guess I'll get taken anyway, so I'll spend freely," eliciting laughter.
Kim Gu-ra stated he would visit a temple as the first travel destination, while Kim Tae-kyun reassured the members, saying, "There's a food alley nearby. The street food will be cheap, so don't worry."
While each member was enjoying their unique travels, Kim Gu-ra couldn't take his eyes off a child playing in front of the temple. As a late bloomer dad, he smiled, unable to look away from the child, and added warmth to the scene by saying, "There's an old saying that a child is a living Buddha."
