'Home Cam' (Director Oh Se-ho, provided and distributed by Studio Santa Claus Entertainment, produced by M Pictures, co-produced by A Cut) is a 24-hour ultra-close horror film in which insurance investigator 'Seong-hee' (Yoon Se-ah), who is investigating a mysterious death, becomes trapped in fear after witnessing a strange presence through the home cam installed in her house.
Director Oh Se-ho of 'Home Cam' appeared on 'Dolby Horror Radio', a horror content YouTube channel with 1.08 million subscribers, on Aug. 29 and shared horror stories related to the filming of
Strange occurrences continued at the studio shooting location. The scenes being filmed with the home cam were switching between regular and night modes depending on the situation, but it was difficult to change, so they were fixed on regular mode. It was a scene where the ghost, the embodiment of horror in the film, appeared while looking at the home cam, and at that moment, the fixed screen unexpectedly switched to night mode, capturing the actor's eyes shining in a chilling manner. All staff, including Director Oh Se-ho, who was monitoring, were startled and paused the filming due to fear. Even more astonishing was that late at night, the shaman called to say, 'Was there anyone sick today? The sword spirit was angry, and I prayed for you. Tomorrow they will recover.' In fact, the prop team leader made a full recovery and returned to work the next day.
Subscribers reacted with comments such as, 'Even from the brief glimpse in the trailer, it seems like it will be so fun!!
