Rapper Doki has revealed that he was sued for defamation.
On the 4th, Doki posted a long message on his social media, saying, "I am still in the United States, but right now the police have come to catch Doki at my brother's house in Korea for the crime of defamation by publication, and they say if I don't come for questioning tomorrow, they will arrest me."
He noted, "If it's defamation by publication, someone reported that they listened to my rap lyrics, but what kind of wonderful person would sue me for listening to my rap?" He continued, "Don't you have anything better to do? Real MCs live this way. Is it a crime for a rapper to say what they want to say? Real MCs, raise your hands!"
Doki also added, "As soon as I find out who it is, I will reveal it again," drawing attention.
Earlier, Doki debuted in 2005 as a rapper, lyricist, and composer for Dynamic Duo's song "Circus," gaining popularity through appearances on the Mnet series 'Show Me the Money.' However, he faced criticism after it was revealed in 2022 and 2023 that he owed 300 million won in taxes and 10 million won in health insurance premiums.
