A representative from Kim Nam-joo's side explained, "Normally, when the production company delivers the program, they first provide a rough edit and then send the final version once more, informing what has changed. And it's typical for the broadcasting company to issue a press release based on the final version. However, this time, the broadcasting company created a press release based on the rough edit without explanation regarding the edited content in the final version. As a result, it seemed that this content was edited, but the actress's side did not ask for or request any editing of the related content."
Kim Seung-woo filed a missing person report with the police in May 2019, saying he could not contact his wife, Kim Nam-joo. The missing person report for the popular actress quickly drew attention but soon concluded as a misunderstanding.
In connection with this, during a recent filming of 'Queen of Insight,' Kim Nam-joo mentioned the incident directly. At that time, he said, "In our kitchen, I learned my lines at the spot where I talked about how well my husband and I got along because it was small. But I felt very frustrated when I was raising the kids. I had no space. I wanted to be alone somewhere, so I just went to a hotel. I watched TV and ate food like rice noodles, and it was really nice. So, I didn't receive calls, but my husband reported it to 112 at that time."
'Queen of Insight' referenced this content in the preview press release distributed on the 28th of last month, heightening expectations for the broadcast. However, the main broadcast did not mention this content, leading to speculation regarding overall editing.
Kim Nam-joo married actor Kim Seung-woo and has one son and one daughter.
