Yoon Jin-seo proved her acting prowess once again by winning the Best Actress award for the film 'Two, Once Again' at the 11th Seoul International Web Fest (SEOULWEBFEST) Awards held on 3rd. The Seoul International Web Fest is a world-renowned web series film festival that marks its 11th year this year and is gaining attention from creators worldwide as it aims to be a hub for the global expansion of digital cultural content.
The film 'Two, Once Again' (Steely Lovers), directed by Choi Jong-goo, is a melodrama and thriller that depicts the poignant love between a man and a woman who have extreme disabilities as a spinal cord patient and a visually impaired person, and their struggle to escape from a gang seeking a vast inheritance. This film has drawn attention as the only South Korean feature film competing at the 7th Hanoi International Film Festival in 2024, and has been recognized for its artistic value by winning awards for Best Film, Best Actress, and Critics' Choice at over ten film festivals worldwide.
Yoon Jin-seo played the role of 'Kang Hee,' a visually impaired masseuse, delicately expressing the strong will and deep emotions of a character who confronts danger to protect her loved one. Through this award, she showcased her enhanced presence as an actress who vividly conveys the character's inner pain and realistic emotions.
Yoon Jin-seo, who won the Best Actress award, said, "I would like to express my infinite gratitude to the director who watched over me and to the staff who supported us through such a challenging set.
