Broadcaster Seo Jeong-hee opened up about attending the honeymoon of her daughter, lawyer and broadcaster Seo Dong-joo, and her husband.
On the episode of TV CHOSUN 'Perfect Life' aired on the 3rd, Seo Jeong-hee shared her story of overcoming breast cancer and her happy marriage.
While they were having a meal, her husband Kim Tae-hyun started the conversation by asking, 'How did you end up following Dong-joo on her honeymoon this time?'
In response, Seo Jeong-hee said, 'People are saying it's a burden for me to join my daughter's honeymoon. I didn't want to do it either, but it was a honeymoon that my in-laws planned to join, and since they couldn't go due to circumstances, I was debating whether to go or not,' and added, 'Since my son-in-law kept asking me to go together, wasn't it also our honeymoon?'
Kim Tae-hyun reacted by saying, 'We didn't have a wedding ceremony, but it's not a honeymoon.'
Seo Jeong-hee explained, 'I didn't hold a wedding. Initially, I had a second house that was supposed to be completed last year, and I was planning to have a small wedding there. But then my daughter suddenly got married. Since we both ended up getting married around the same time, as a mother, I had to give that up because my daughter was getting married.'
Regarding her son-in-law, she said, 'First of all, my son-in-law is in good shape. It seems like he will protect our daughter, which makes me feel reassured and nice. Tae-hyun is trying to treat me well, and my son-in-law treats Dong-joo well, both of them are running around. We're just standing still. So we are happy. I find myself thinking, 'Can I really be this happy at such a late age?'
