Actress Ahn Si-ha has become a mother after a long labor.
Ahn announced her surprise marriage through her personal social media in June, saying, "If I meet someone I want to marry, let's not hesitate and get married. This has been the way I have chosen to live my life... haha. I met a wonderful man with whom I want to get married."
In particular, she added, "The most important news is that I am cherishing a precious child with that loving person. Currently, I am 28 weeks along, which is 8 months, and our strong baby will be born at the end of August."
On the evening of Aug. 29 at 6:45 p.m., Ahn's first child was finally born. She revealed, "It started with induced labor, and I endured about 22 hours of labor, receiving a recommendation for surgery, but I persevered and succeeded in natural childbirth," while also sharing the first photo of her son.
"The nurses said it was a tough case. The moment I gave birth was a very mystical and grateful experience. I still feel like I'm floating in the sky," she expressed, moving her fans.
However, the delivery was more urgent than ever. Ahn said, "The baby came out after swallowing meconium and wasn't breathing. Even after removing the meconium, the baby didn't cry until the second resuscitation, and then erupted in tears," adding, "My first words were, 'I'm sorry for making it hard, mom... I'm so thankful you came to me.'"
In fact, Ahn had a difficult time last year experiencing a miscarriage at 3 months pregnant. She shared late but joyful news, saying, "I was cautious as it was a precious being that returned to me," and after many twists and turns, she embraced her healthy child.
Meanwhile, Ahn made her debut in 2004 with the musical 'Dalgona' and appeared in the dramas 'Day and Night,' 'Hospital Playlist Season 2,' and 'When the Flower Blooms, I Think of the Moon,' recognized for her solid acting skills while crossing over between stage and screen.
