Actress Ko Hyun-jung shared her thoughts on filming 'The Mantis: Original Sin' in a poor health condition.
On the afternoon of 4th, the production presentation for SBS's weekend drama 'The Mantis: Original Sin' took place. Director Byun Young-joo, actress Ko Hyun-jung, Jang Dong-yoon, Jo Seong-ha, and Lee El attended the event.
'The Mantis: Original Sin' is a high-density crime thriller that depicts a detective who has spent his life hating 'The Mantis,' as he unexpectedly collaborates with his mother, a brutal serial killer, 20 years after her capture, due to a series of copycat crimes.
Previously, Ko Hyun-jung had left the filming set for a while due to health issues requiring surgery. She noted, "It is true that I was not in good health. That's why I couldn't film for a while and then returned to the set. I received so much consideration, as all the actors are truly amazing individuals. They helped me a lot."
She expressed, "I have grown more fond of the work 'The Mantis: Original Sin.' This is not just my work, it is everyone's work, and the drama 'The Mantis: Original Sin' is not something dictated by a single person; it is a creation made with one heart by all the staff and actors. I hope this work can be presented to many people and that many can watch it."
Meanwhile, 'The Mantis: Original Sin' is scheduled to premiere on the 5th at 9:50 p.m.
