Singer and producer MC Mong responded to actress Lee Seung-gi's wife, Lee Da-in's, public criticism.
On the 4th, MC Mong posted a pointed message on his social media (SNS), saying, "Get in where you fit in! Whether you post a year-old photo or a picture I liked, would you abandon your family like you, before you become more hated?"
This was in response to Lee Da-in's remark, "What's the reason to make a fuss by posting a photo over a year old now? I really can't understand it," which criticized the post made by MC Mong. Earlier, MC Mong revealed his friendship with Lee Seung-gi along with a post saying, "Bam!!!"
The photo he shared included Lee Seung-gi and his wife, as well as Lee Da-in's sister, actress Lee Yu-bi, and Cha Ga-won, chairman of the Fiac Group. Subsequently, the post garnered attention as it was reported by various media outlets. In this regard, Lee Da-in posted a capture image proving the timing of the photo taken by MC Mong (July 18, 2024).
MC Mong recently stepped down from his position as the general producer of One Hundred Label, which he co-founded. He noted, "I was suffering from extremely severe depression and health deterioration due to a surgery, making it difficult to engage in music," and revealed his plans to study abroad.
MC Mong and Lee Seung-gi became connected by appearing together on the KBS 2TV entertainment show '1 Night 2 Days' and have maintained a close relationship through their respective agencies since then.
