IVE released their fourth mini album 'IVE SECRET' and the title track 'XOXZ' on 1st. 'XOXZ' expresses a newly coined term by IVE meaning 'I love you, good night. And let's meet in my dreams.' The track uses a heavy 808 bass with brass and solid drum sounds to create tension while the low rap and minimal vocals offer a dreamy charm. The lyrics were crafted by Jang Won-young and lyricist Seo Ji-eum, who collaborated on the previous title track 'ATTITUDE,' enhancing the song's completeness.
'XOXZ' has revealed its presence by ranking high on various domestic music charts, including Melon HOT100 (within 30 days of release) and Vibe's domestic rising chart, followed by Genie, Bugs, Flo, and YouTube Music.
