'Gwangju Goddess' reporter-turned-Won Ja-hyun recently revealed her romantic relationship with Yoon Jung-soo through Love Instagram.
On Dec. 2, it became known that the wife who completed her marriage registration with Yoon Jung-soo is Won Ja-hyun.
Born in 1983, Won Ja-hyun has worked in various fields including KBS reporter, Weather News global weather jockey, and traffic caster. She was active as a sports reporter for MBC in 2010. In particular, during the Gwangju Asian Games, she attracted attention as the 'Gwangju Goddess.' Later, she transitioned to a fitness model, securing second place in both the model women's short institutional sector and Miss Bikini categories at the 2015 Muscle Mania Fitness World Championship. She has been working as a Pilates instructor since 2017.
During the broadcast of KBS Cool FM 'Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee's Mister Radio,' Yoon Jung-soo noted that he would reveal his wife for the first time on the entertainment show 'Lover of Joseon' and said, "One cannot judge a person solely based on appearance and voice, but please watch to see what kind of person she is. I'd appreciate positive comments. In the content of the marriage registration, only my wife's back was shown, and I received about 1,000 negative comments. They asked why I registered the marriage alone, but I registered with documents made by my wife the night before."
Yoon Jung-soo continued, "If we go together, people will talk about it, right? Excessive attention can cause marital disputes. I'm struggling with the 'SDM expenses' for the wedding. As interest in Won Ja-hyun increased, her personal social media accounts attracted attention, showing places where the two secretly dated and traveled together.
Domestic travels included Gangneung and Busan, while international trips encompassed Kyoto, Japan, Universal Studios, and Rome, Italy, fully showcasing their Love Instagram traces. Since April, Won Ja-hyun has been posting dating confirmation shots on social media, suggesting she has a boyfriend, and referred to Yoon Jung-soo as 'oppa,' leaving numerous posts.
In July, the two enjoyed a home date at Yoon Jung-soo's house located in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, posting, "Had a fun time watching weekend classics in a cool home on the last weekend night of hot July #homecinema #myoppa'shobby." Notably, last month, Yoon Jung-soo and Won Ja-hyun embarked on a 3-night, 4-day trip to Rome, Italy. Won Ja-hyun also expressed her affection towards Yoon Jung-soo by saying, "Oppa, it's definitely official now. 'The die is cast!' Let's continue to be happy together for a long time like we are now ♥," and even continued to Sicily for a 5-night, 6-day trip after Rome.
As Yoon Jung-soo and Won Ja-hyun recently finalized their marriage registration, it appears their trip to Italy served as a substitute for a honeymoon.
Meanwhile, Yoon Jung-soo and Won Ja-hyun will hold their wedding ceremony at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, on Nov. 30. They will conduct a private ceremony with only family and close friends invited.
In response, a representative from Yoon Jung-soo's side stated to OSEN on the afternoon of Dec. 2, "It is correct that Yoon Jung-soo will be getting married at the end of November."
