Actor Jo Sung-ha embarks on a new journey with Soonie Ent.
On the 3rd, Soonie Ent stated, "We have signed an exclusive contract with actor Jo Sung-ha," adding, "We will spare no effort in providing comprehensive support so that Jo Sung-ha can engage in various fields of activity."
Through this contract, Soonie Ent plans to accelerate its actor management business. In fact, following the absorption merger with actor management company Yeo Jin Entertainment in March, it has been actively engaged in traditional legacy cultural businesses such as films, broadcasts, and musicals. In particular, leveraging its advantages as a multichannel network (MCN) corporation, it plans to create various collaborations between creators and actors, advancing toward becoming a comprehensive platform corporation.
Jo Sung-ha stated, "I decided to accompany Soonie Ent based on a long-standing relationship and strong trust with my manager, who oversees the actor management division that has been with me since my debut."
Park Chang-woo, the representative of Soonie Ent, remarked, "We expect to enter various areas, including commerce utilizing SNS channels, music matching, and short-form drama distribution, through this contract with Soonie Ent," and stated, "We aim to build faith and trust as a wonderful partner, not just a simple company and actor relationship."
Jo Sung-ha will play the role of police officer Choi Jung-ho, who is focused on solving cases by pursuing the criminal imitating a mantis in the SBS new Friday-Saturday drama "The Mantis: Original Sin" (written by Lee Young-jong, directed by Byeon Young-joo), which is set to premiere on the 5th at 9:50 p.m.
Meanwhile, Soonie Ent, which Jo Sung-ha has joined, is a corporation that conducts businesses in various fields such as advertising, commerce, content, and music by leveraging over 200 affiliated creators both domestically and internationally, who have a high number of followers. It announced the full-scale entry into the legacy cultural business starting this year.
