Comedian Yoon Jung-soo, who is set to marry the 'Goddess of Guangzhou' Won Ja-hyun, said, "The studio, dress, and makeup are driving me crazy... the wedding culture needs to change."
As Yoon Jung-soo prepares to marry sports reporter Won Ja-hyun, who is 12 years younger, he has expressed his struggles with realistic wedding preparations while revealing his thoughts on 'studio, dress, and makeup' culture.
On the program 'Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee's Mr. Radio' broadcast on Nov. 2, Nam Chang-hee noted, "Yoon Jung-soo currently ranks first in entertainment news," adding that "the marriage news is at the top."
According to earlier reports, Yoon Jung-soo's fiancée is Won Ja-hyun, a former MBC sports reporter who gained attention as the 'Goddess of Guangzhou' during the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
Yoon Jung-soo publicly discussed the wedding preparation process, stating, "Is it studio, dress, and makeup or is it a lot of headache? The wedding culture in Korea really needs to change. While top stars might have flexibility, the cost of meals isn't sponsored, right?" He expressed the realistic burdens he faces.
He also clarified the negative comments he received during the marriage registration process. He said, "My wife prepared the documents the night before, so I went alone to register, but I received over a thousand comments asking, 'Why did you go alone?' Excessive attention can even lead to arguments between couples. I hope for good comments."
Meanwhile, the couple Yoon Jung-soo and Won Ja-hyun will hold their wedding in November at a location in Seoul, and the wedding preparation process will be revealed weekly on TV Chosun's 'Love-struck in Joseon' airing every Monday at 10 p.m.
